Weaving Fates was born from the shared work of husband-and-wife duo Gavin and Calea Beretvas.
Calea became a co-owner of her first business at just 19, working within a cooperative model that taught her how to build ethical & sustainable businesses from the heart. With a background as an artist and designer, she has a gift for drawing out her clients’ visions and translating their ideas into something tangible, beautiful, and alive. She helps shape not only the visual expression of a business, but the vision behind its growth—bridging art, strategy, and development.
Gavin brings a complementary depth informed by both ancient inquiry and modern technology. With a master’s degree in ancient philosophy and a bachelor’s in computer science, his work sits at the intersection of story, myth, and meaning. As both copywriter and developer, he understands how to speak to the soul and how to build the technological systems that bring your story into the world.
Our paths didn’t fit the corporate mold, and entrepreneurship became the obvious answer. It offered a way not just to work, but to thrive on our own terms.
